Fire Tower

Completely rebuilt in 2005 this is the tallest timber tower in the country. Climb the 105 steps to the top for amazing views out to distant hills. The new telescope brings everything right up close - watch the Funicular Railway climb Cairngorm some 12 miles away.

Meet Lex, our giant Clydesdale and watch as he makes light work of hauling logs to the mill.

Steam Powered Sawmill

Feel the heat of the steam engine and smell the pine resin as logs are sawn at Britain's only working steam powered sawmill.
